A quiet place to sleep

Pets sleep a lot more than we do. Where they sleep shapes how settled they are the rest of the day.

Pick the right corner

Out of the main walkway, away from the door, and not directly under a vent. Somewhere they can see the room without being in the middle of it.

Size for stretching

Measure your pet stretched out, not curled up. Curling is a choice; being unable to stretch is not.

Wash the bedding, keep the scent

Wash covers regularly, but avoid replacing everything at once. A familiar scent helps them settle — swapping in an entirely new bed overnight often gets ignored for a week.

Keep the routine boring

Same place, same rough time, same wind-down. Predictability is what makes a sleeping spot stick.
